Deadline Extended: One Final Week to Enter
Finance Awards Wales has announced a one-week extension to its 2026 entry deadline, following a significant surge in last-minute submissions and requests for additional time.
The new deadline for entries is 27th February, 2026, giving firms and professionals across Wales a final opportunity to submit their nominations.

The decision follows strong demand in the days leading up to the original deadline, coupled with last week’s half term, which reduced preparation time for many teams.
Submissions received so far reflect the breadth, resilience and innovation of Wales’ finance community, spanning advisory, fintech, corporate finance, audit, tax, and financial services.
Matt Hyde, Founder of Finance Awards Wales, said:
“We’ve been delighted with both the volume and quality of entries received so far. However, with half term falling immediately before the deadline, we received a high number of requests from firms asking for a little more time to finalise submissions.
We want to ensure that no outstanding business or professional misses the opportunity to be recognised. This extension gives everyone one final chance to put their best work forward. We strongly encourage anyone considering entering to do so now, as no further extensions will be granted.”
The awards celebrate excellence across the Welsh finance sector and are judged by an independent and highly respected panel of industry leaders.
Entries must now be submitted by 27th February, 2026 via this website.
This is the final deadline extension.
